NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A crazed carjacker bit and punched an Uber driver in Queens last week before pulling him out of his SUV and taking off in the vehicle, police said Friday as they released wild video of the street attack.
Cops are still searching for the woman seen on the video running up beside the Uber driver’s RAV4 on 86th Avenue, just west of the Cross Island Parkway, in Bellerose last Thursday night.
The 52-year-old driver was picking up a passenger at 11:20 p.m. when the woman came up and punched him in the face and body multiple times, police said.
She then bit him in the back and pushed him out of the SUV before fleeing in the vehicle westbound on 86th Avenue, according to cops.
The getaway didn’t last long—she crashed into multiple parked cars and a tree up the street before fleeing on foot, police said.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken by EMS to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable condition.
