VP Kamala Harris to mark 21st anniversary of 9/11 attacks in Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to New York City on Sunday to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, her office announced Tuesday.

Harris will be accompanied to the National September 11th Memorial by her husband and second gentleman, Douglas Emhoff.

President Joe Biden will make remarks and take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Pentagon on Sunday, the White House also announced.

First lady Jill Biden will attend and speak at the Flight 93 National Memorial Observance in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
