NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- There is more snow expected to hit New York City Tuesday, and again a few more times over the next week.
A winter weather advisory is in effect through later in the day Tuesday with on-again, off-again snow for New York City, as well as northwestern New Jersey and much of Connecticut.

A quick-hitting storm will deposit more snow and cause slippery travel early this week, and an even harder-hitting and long-duration winter storm to follow.

New York City and areas of northern New Jersey have become an epicenter for heavy snowfall in February, and a displaced polar vortex will continue sending bitterly cold Arctic air southward across the United States.
A stormy corridor will set up across the Northeast this week, creating more opportunities for snow to New York City, AccuWeather forecasters warn.
