NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two brothers were robbed in the Bronx early Monday after a woman one of them met on Instagram let four armed men into their home.
The robbers entered the home on Elder Avenue in the Soundview section shortly after 4 a.m.
One of the victims, 21-year-old Wisdom, told 1010 WINS that he was meeting a woman he’d connected with on Instagram for the second time in two days.
But about 20 minutes into the meetup, the woman said she had to go outside to an “Uber,” then returned with the four men, who robbed Wisdom and his 24-year-old brother at gunpoint.
“Two minutes later, she came back inside my house with four masked men with guns,” he said. “Took my stuff, took my money, took my jackets, my jewelry, my phones.”
He said the men were covered by surgical masks and ski masks and said, “Where’s the money? Where’s the money? Where’s the money?”
Sources said the stolen items included jewelry, bank cards and a large amount of cash totaling thousands of dollars.
Police believe the four men fled on foot near Bruckner Boulevard. No arrests had been reported as of Monday.
