NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Legendary 1010 WINS reporter Juliet Papa will be inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame.
The Bronx Walk of Fame is a 23-block corridor along the Grand Concourse with street signs honoring people who have lived in the borough and made significant contributions to society.
"You would need 23-blocks just to list Juliet’s accomplishments," said Ben Mevorach, vice president of New York news at Audacy, wrote in an email Monday announcing the honor.
Papa, a Bronx native, will join a list of greats in their field with the honor, among them Regis Philbin, Colin Powell, Rita Moreno, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Stanley Kubrick.
Papa was at the announcement in the Bronx Monday along with fellow Walk of Fame honoree Luis Torres, Principal Luis Torres of PS 55, She was also joined by her colleagues, Rob Walsh, host and moderator of the 1010 WINS Small Business Challenge, and Mark Businski, director of strategic partnerships at Audacy New York.
The formal induction ceremony will happen later this month.
