NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Officials have one person in custody after a 19-year-old woman was stabbed and killed near a Brooklyn restaurant on Wednesday, authorities said.
According to police, the woman was stabbed once in the left armpit near 97-12 Seaview Ave. in Canarsie at about 11:40 a.m.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition where she later died.
An investigation remains ongoing.
