NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the death of a woman found in the hallway of an apartment building in Queens early Monday.
At approximately 4:08 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a woman inside of the LeFrak City apartments located at 97-22 57 Avenue and discovered a 28-year-old woman lying on the 5th floor hallway, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where she was pronounced deceased.
The Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death and an investigation is ongoing.
