Woman, 32, found dead of suspected overdose in car near Citi Field: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 32-year-old woman was found dead of a suspected overdose inside of a car about a block from Citi Field on Monday night, police said.

Cops said the woman was found unconscious and unresponsive in the back seat of a Honda at 127th Street and 35th Avenue in Willets Point around 10:20 p.m. — less than a 10 minute walk from the Mets ballpark.

Sources told The New York Post that the white car appeared to be abandoned and had no plates.

Her cause of death remains under investigation.
