NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating the death of a woman found outside of her Queens apartment on Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:20 p.m., EMS responded to a 911 call of an unconscious woman inside of 97-28 57th Avenue in Corona.
Upon arrival, officials discovered 54-year-old Renee Harris lying in front of apartment 9M, police said.
Harris was transported to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to police, Harris was found with wounds to her left chest and the back of her right shoulder.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation is ongoing.
