NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman threw bleach at a 57-year-old woman in a Staten Island deli during an argument on Tuesday morning, according to police.
Law enforcement received a report of the attack around 7:15 a.m. at the West Brighton Deli Grocery & Grill on Campbell Avenue near Henderson Avenue.
The argument broke out inside the store, and, when the conflict turned physical, the suspect allegedly splashed bleach on the victim's eyes.
The attacker fled, and the victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Police have not yet made any arrests, and an investigation into the attack is ongoing.
