NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 26-year-old woman and her 6-year-old daughter were found dead in a Bronx apartment on Saturday, police said.

Officers were responding to the Monticello Avenue apartment just before midnight for a wellness check when they found Gabrielle Lissette Muniz and her young daughter Rozara unresponsive with stab wounds throughout their bodies in a bedroom, authorities said.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Muniz's boyfriend, 34-year-old Caleb Duberry, confessed to his mother after the stabbing.
When Duberry's mother spoke to police, she said her son had locked himself in the bathroom. When officers entered, they found he had killed himself by repeatedly stabbing himself in the chest.
The NYPD is investigating further.
