Woman, 64, found dead on living room floor in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD launched a investigation after a woman was found dead on a living room floor in Queens over the weekend, authorities said on Monday.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, police responded to a 911 call of an injured woman inside 172-15 127th Ave. in Locust Manor.


Upon arrival, officers observed a 64-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive laying on the floor in the living room.

EMS responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

So far no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
