NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 65-year-old woman was repeatedly stabbed Sunday evening as two home invaders barged into her home in an attempted robbery, police said.

The victim was inside her apartment at Parsons Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing just before 5:45 p.m. when two men burst inside and tried to steal her property, according to cops.

They stabbed her multiple times with a sharp object as they ransacked the apartment, police said.

The suspects ultimately fled on foot without taking anything, according to police.

The victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Queens, where she was in stable condition.

No images or description of the suspects has been released as of Monday.
