NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 68-year-old woman was choked and dragged into a garage during a Bronx sex attack Saturday, police said as they search for her assailant.

Cops said the attack happened just after 6 a.m. near East 189th Street and Webster Avenue in Belmont.

The man approached the woman from behind and choked her before dragging her into the garage, where police said he unsuccessfully tried to take off her clothes.

He then forced the woman "to perform oral sex" on him before he fled south on Third Avenue, police said.

EMS rushed the victim to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Police on Tuesday released a surveillance image of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
