NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage on Thursday of a woman wanted for a violent purse robbery in the Bronx last month.
At around 6:48 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, a 68-year-old woman was standing in front of 360 East Fordham Rd. in Fordham Heights when she was approached by the suspect, cops said.
The attacker punched the victim in the face multiple times before stealing two purses from her, officials said.
The suspect fled on foot, traveling eastbound on East Fordham Road toward Webster Avenue.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
