NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage Tuesday of a suspect accused of knocking a 70-year-old woman to the ground during a robbery on a Chelsea street last week.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Friday, April 18, the victim was approached by the suspect in front of 575 Avenue of the Americas who then stole her purse, causing her to fall to the ground, authorities said.

The suspect fled on foot westbound on West 16th Street to parts unknown.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
