NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 72-year-old Brooklyn woman was struck and killed by an SUV driver outside a car dealership in the borough on Thursday afternoon, police said Friday.
Carol Langdon suffered severe head trauma after she was struck outside a dealership at 8910 Fourth Ave. in Bay Ridge around 3:20 p.m., according to police.
EMS rushed her to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where she was pronounced dead.

Police said a preliminary investigation found Langdon was walking on the sidewalk outside the dealership when she was struck by a white 2021 Volkswagen Atlas.
A 29-year-old man driving the Atlas had pulled forward to exit the sidewalk onto Forest Place when he struck Langdon, police said.

No arrests have been made, according to police.
The NYPD's Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad is continuing to investigate.
