
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 76-year-old woman was pummeled at a McDonald’s in the West Village this week, police said Wednesday as they searched for her attacker.
The NYPD released images showing the female suspect sought in Monday afternoon’s assault inside the McDonald’s at 208 Varick St.
The victim was at the restaurant around 4:35 p.m. when she and another woman got into an argument, it's unclear about what.
During the dispute, the woman punched the septuagenarian in the face multiple times, police said.
The suspect fled southbound on Sixth Avenue towards Spring Street, according to cops.
The victim suffered minor injuries to her eye. She was transported to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital for treatment.
