
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after an 82-year-old woman was pushed onto the subway tracks in a Flushing, Queens station on Wednesday, officials said.
Minutes before noon, officers responded to the Flushing-Main Street station and found the victim on the 7-line tracks between two train cars.
The train was stationary when she fell, police said.
The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses told police that the woman was pushed by a man in a blue shirt.
There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
