NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- An 85-year-old woman was found dead with neck trauma at her Queens home on Monday night, police said.
Officers responded to a 911 call about an unconscious woman in a basement apartment on Country Pointe Circle in Bellerose around 10:20 p.m.
The officers arrived at the apartment to find the woman lying face down with trauma to her neck, police said.
The woman, identified as Su Yang, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The medical examiner will determine her cause of death as police continue to investigate.
