Woman dragged down Brooklyn street, sexually abused; suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A would-be robber dragged a woman down a Brooklyn street and sexually abused her this week, police said Thursday as they released surveillance video of a suspect.

The 24-year-old woman was walking near White Street and Seigel Street in East Williamsburg around 9 p.m. Monday when the man came up to her from behind and grabbed her by the throat, police said.

The man then pushed her against a wall and demanded money, according to police, who said the woman told the man she only had $20.

The man then dragged the woman eastbound down Siegel Street and pushed her against a parked car, where he sexually abused her, police said.
