NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Friday released surveillance video of a suspect sought in a fatal stabbing inside an apartment at a Bronx housing complex last month, authorities said.
Police responded to a 911 call of a woman stabbed inside of an apartment at the Castle Hill Houses located at 530 Olmstead Ave. in Castle Hill just after 3:35 a.m. on June 24.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 56-year-old woman with a stab wound to the lower torso.
She was later identified by police as Nancy Newsome.
EMS transported Newsome to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was pronounced dead.
There were no arrests nor weapons recovered.
An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
