NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a woman accused of getting a facial then robbing a spa at knifepoint when asked to pay last month in Brooklyn.
It happened at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Friday, May 16, inside of a beauty salon located at 1304 Fulton St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
According to police, the suspect received a facial treatment and when asked to pay for the service, she displayed a knife and took $400 from a 48-year-old employee.
The suspect then fled the location on foot. She was last seen wearing a red bonnet over her hair and a black hooded sweatshirt.
There were no injuries reported.
