Woman grabbed off street in early-morning Brooklyn kidnapping

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating a kidnapping that took place in Brooklyn early Friday morning.

An unidentified man grabbed the unidentified woman off the street at the intersection of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue in Gravesend around 1:45 a.m., according to officials.

Images captured by security cameras showed the man carrying the woman off into his van — a late model Toyota.

Police were not able to identify the plates on the car.

The victim was a woman in her 20s with a light complexion and long hair. She stood at roughly five-foot-five-inches weighing an estimated 120 pounds. She was wearing a striped shirt, a blue skirt and white sneakers.

Her kidnapper is described as a man in his thirties with a light complexion and facial hair standing around five-foot-10-inches and weighing about 175 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, dark pants and black sneakers.
