NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A woman is in critical condition following a hit-and-run in Queens late Wednesday afternoon, the NYPD said.
The victim was riding an electric scooter eastbound on Northern Boulevard, near 195th Street in Jackson Heights, when she was hit by a Nissan Rogue that was going the same way, police said.
Officials said that following the crash, the driver of the Nissan fled the scene.
The woman was transported to Booth Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
