NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman was struck and killed by a tow truck in a hit-and-run incident outside a Bronx hospital early Saturday morning, police said.
The victim, 56, was outside Montefiore Westchester Square Campus around midnight when she was hit by a white tow truck.
The motorist drove off in an unknown direction and the woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead, officials said.
Police have yet to release the victim’s identity.
There have been no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
