NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Thursday released photos of a man and two women they are looking to identify in connection with an attempted robbery last month in the East Village.
At approximately 4:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, a 31-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of First Avenue and East 14th Street when the three suspects approached her from behind and attempted to forcefully take her personal property, officials said.
A physical altercation ensued causing the victim to fall down a nearby staircase.
The suspects fled on foot, eastbound on East 14th Street towards Avenue C.
The victim suffered bruising to her right arm, right leg, and torso but refused medical attention at the scene.
