NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man they said punched a woman in the face during a dispute last month on a train in Queens.
On September 9, at approximately 6:30 p.m., police say a 32-year-old woman was aboard an eastbound 7 train approaching the Main Street subway station, when she got into a verbal dispute with an unidentified male passenger.
The man then punched the woman in the face with a closed fist, officials said.
The victim pursued the man when he got off the train at the Main Street station before losing sight of him when he exited the station.
EMS transported the woman to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Queens where she was treated for lacerations and bruising to the face.
The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Roosevelt Avenue before entering the Bland Houses at 40-05 College Point Boulevard in Flushing.
Police late Tuesday released cell phone video and photos provided by the victim from immediately after the incident, along with surveillance photos of the suspect taken at Bland Houses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
