NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a man wanted in connection to a random attack against a woman on a Queens-bound M train earlier this month in Brooklyn.

According to officials, the man punched a 38-year-old woman in the back of her head then punched her in the face when she turned around before stricking her several more times.

The incident occurred on March 7 at 6:50 a.m. as the train was entering the Myrtle/Wyckoff avenues station in Bushwick.

The suspect then then exited the train and fled in an unknown direction, authorities said.

The victim suffered pain and bruising to her face.

Police describe the attacker as a Black man, 30-40 years old, 5'10", and 180-190lbs. He was wearing a black du-rag, a gray sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
