NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo Thursday of two suspects sought for robbing a woman at gunpoint of a bag of jewels worth thousands of dollars in the Bronx last month.
It happened at approximately 6:30 p.m., in front of 2140 Homer Ave. in Castle Hill when a 58-year-old woman was exiting her vehicle when she was approached by the two suspects, authorities said.
According to officials, one suspect displayed a firearm while the other entered the victim's vehicle and removed credit cards, and a bag of jewelry valued at approximately $50,000.
The duo then fled the location in a silver Jeep SUV, traveling eastbound on Homer Avenue.
