NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was robbed at knifepoint off Central Park, police said Wednesday, as patrols have already been increased in the park following the knifepoint sexual assault of one woman and the murder of another woman in recent weeks.
The NYPD released images Wednesday of the suspect in the Oct. 27 robbery at West 107th Street and Central Park West on the Upper West Side.
Police said a 41-year-old woman was approached around 11:45 p.m. by the suspect, who pulled a knife on her and stole her portable speaker.
The suspect fled southbound on Central Park West, police said. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, police are still searching for another suspect in the knifepoint sexual assault of a woman near East Drive and East 67th Street in the park on the night of Oct. 24. They released images of a suspect last week, but no arrests have been made.
The crimes also follow the murder of Elise Bainbridge Hill, a 63-year-old woman who was beaten to death at East Drive and East 74th Street on Sept. 27. She’d reportedly been living in a gazebo near the Ramble at the time of her killing. Jonathan Robles, 36, was arrested in her murder.
The NYPD, which has a precinct covering the park, was reportedly increasing the number of patrolling officers there by 100. "As with any part of the city, remind everyone to always be aware of their surroundings and to remain vigilant," a police spokesperson said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
