NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos on Friday of a suspect wanted in connection with a violent daylight slashing in Queens that left a man in critical condition, authorities said.
It happened at about 10:10 a.m. on Thursday, in front of 1725 Village Lane in Far Rockaway.
According to officials, a 43-year-old man was involved in a verbal argument with the suspect when she produced a sharp cutting instrument and slashed him across the neck, causing a severe laceration.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Beach 22nd Street to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim to St. John's Episcopal Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
