NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman was stabbed on a street in Chelsea early Thursday by a man who had no shirt on in freezing winter weather.
The 41-year-old victim was stabbed at West 26th Street and 10th Avenue around 2:20 a.m.
The shirtless suspect—wearing only blue jeans and black sneakers—stabbed the woman in the left arm and then fled on foot, police said.
The woman was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
Sources told 1010 WINS the relationship between the two is unknown, but they appear to know each other in some way.
No arrests were reported Thursday as police continued to search for the man, who's in his mid-50s.
