NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage of three suspects on Wednesday after a 68-year-old woman was robbed in broad-daylight by a group of men on a Queens street last week.
It happened at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, in front of 249-31 Thebes Ave. in Douglaston.
According to officials, the woman was approached by the three suspects in a dark-colored Infinity sedan.
A struggle ensued when one of the men attempted to steal the victim's pocketbook. The suspects stole the woman's cellphone and caused her to sustain injuries to her face.
The three men fled the location in the dark-colored Infinity sedan, traveling northbound on Marathon Parkway.
EMS transported the victim to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable condition.
