NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men on a moped attacked a woman in Queens after their first attempt to steal her purse failed, police said Thursday as they released images of the suspects.
According to police, the 18-year-old victim was approached by the duo on May 25 just before 6 p.m. at 24-18 79th St.
When the woman foiled their first effort, one of the men got off the bike and shoved the victim onto a parked car before getting away with the purse.
The individuals fled northbound on 79th Street, police said.
The victim went to an area hospital by private means for minor injuries.
