NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a woman who hurled a water bottle at a bus operator’s face in the Bronx earlier this month.

The NYPD released images Thursday of the suspect, who police say attacked the driver on a Bx6 bus in Melrose on the afternoon of Feb. 5.

The victim, a 54-year-old man, was driving the bus when the woman got into an argument with him about something around 12:40 p.m.

During the spat, she threw a water bottle at him, striking him in the face, police said.

She fled on foot and was last seen headed eastbound on East 161st Street, according to cops.

The victim suffered minor injuries in the assault.
