NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man tied up a woman and put a pillow over her head in a horrifying, sexually motivated home invasion in Brooklyn on Monday morning, police said Tuesday.
The NYPD released an image of the man they’re searching for in the sex attack in Bushwick.
According to police, the 43-year-old woman was sleeping at her home in the area of Pilling Street and Evergreen Avenue around 3:40 a.m. when the man entered the home through a kitchen window.
Once inside, he struggled with the woman, ultimately placing a pillow over her head and tying her wrists, police said.
He then “made sexual advances and performed a lewd act,” according to police.
Before fleeing the scene, he stole her cellphone and watch from the bedroom, police said.
EMS transported the woman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, where she was in stable condition.
