NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a woman who allegedly attacked two teen girls in East Harlem last week, pulling one by the hair and punching the other in the face.
The victims – ages 13 and 17 – were walking at East 110th Street and Madison Avenue around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, when the woman came up from behind and grabbed the 13-year-old by her hair, police said.
She tried to steal the girl’s headphones, but the 17-year-old intervened and was punched in the face by the suspect, according to cops.
Both victims suffered minor injuries and declined further medical attention at the scene.
The suspect fled the area on foot and was last seen headed northbound on East 110th Street.
