Woman wanted for sucker-punching MTA bus driver in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released images Wednesday of a woman who allegedly sucker-punched a city bus driver as he operated a bus in Brooklyn last week.

The 48-year-old victim was driving an MTA bus in New Lots last Wednesday night when he was attacked by the woman, according to police.

As the bus was in the area of Miller Avenue and New Lots Avenue, she allegedly walked up to him and punched him on the right side of the face.

The suspect, who’s believed to be in her 20s, then fled the scene on foot, police said.

The victim was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was in stable condition.
