NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A scissor-wielding woman attacked a man who was taking photos in the West Village, the NYPD said Thursday as they released surveillance footage of the suspect.

The 36-year-old victim was snapping photos in front of 204 Varick St. around 4:20 p.m. on May 5 when the woman approached him, leading to a dispute.

It’s unclear what exactly sparked the argument, but the woman ended up punching the man in the shoulder and whipping out a pair of scissors, police said.

The man was stabbed in the back during the fray, according to cops.

He suffered minor injuries and declined further medical attention at the scene.

Surveillance video shows the suspect—clad in a dress, high heels and a fur-trimmed coat—walking in the area of the Houston Street subway station, where she allegedly fled after the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
