NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police on Wednesday released a photo of a suspect sought for a pair of violent robberies inside Midtown banks last month.

At approximately 1:47 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, the suspect entered a Capital One Bank located at 215 West 34th St. and forcibly removed $600 from a 42-year-old female after striking her in the chest.

The suspect dropped the money in the midst of fleeing the scene.

The second incident happened just before 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, when the suspect entered a Bank of America located at 1293 Broadway and forcibly removed $500 from a 48-year-old woman then pushed her to the ground.

The suspect fled the location to parts unknown.

Both victims refused medical attention on scene.
