NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A Wyoming man with a history of graffiti busts was nabbed this week for tagging subway cars and a billboard in Times Square, police said.
Police arrested Marc Meadowcroft on Tuesday after using his “Ciga” tag to track him to a location near his girlfriend’s home in lower Manhattan, police told the Daily News.
The 25-year-old is suspected of tagging several trains back in March, including an M train in Forest Hills and a C train and 1 train in Washington Heights and Harlem, respectively, according to the report.
Police also believe he’s the person who tagged a billboard in Times Square in late July and a parking meter in Chinatown in early August.
He faces charges of making graffiti and felony criminal mischief.
In addition to the alleged vandalism in New York City, Meadowcroft has been busted in Boston and in his home city of Cheyenne, Wyoming, according to the report.
