NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage Wednesday of a man wanted for an assault on a 68-year-old victim in Midtown earlier this week.
It happened at approximately 6:05 p.m. on Monday, April 13, near the intersection of West 47th Street and Fifth Avenue, cops said.
According to police, the victim was walking when he was approached by the suspect who began yelling before pushing him to the ground and punching him in the face.
The attacker fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on Fifth Avenue. The victim sustained injuries during the attack but declined medical attention at the scene.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, a gray tank top, black jeans, and black shoes.
