NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for three young men who allegedly set a homeless man on fire at Penn Station on Monday night.
The 37-year-old victim was sleeping near the entrance to Amtrak at West 33rd Street and Eighth Avenue around 8:40 p.m. when one of them set fire to his clothes, according to police.
The three men fled into the station as the man's clothes caught fire, police said.
First responders arrived and transported him to the burn unit at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Police said he suffered second degree burns that are not life-threatening.
