EAST ROCKAWAY, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The woman dubbed the “hot dog hooker” of Long Island has been arrested on stalking charges more than a decade after she first made headlines.
Catherina Scalia, 57, faces three misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree stalking. She was charged Tuesday and released without bail.
According to a police report, she allegedly stalked a 51-year-old man at his home and place of work in East Rockaway—up to 15 times a day.
In the report, the man told cops she repeatedly exposed her breasts to him and yelled antisemitic remarks outside his workplace. He said he's not Jewish but the owners of the business are.
Scalia, who prefers to be called the “hot dog honey,” was first arrested in 2012 for soliciting sex out of her roadside hot dog truck in Baldwin. She later pleaded guilty.
“I’m pleading guilty to being a stripper,” she told reporters at the time. “A stripper and a prostitute are two different things. I’ll be a stripper ‘til the day I die. I love it. I enjoy it. I have fun.”
