NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 20-year-old man was shot to death in front of his home on Long Island early Monday morning, police said.
Alonte Shipp got into an argument with another person in front of his home on Lake Drive, near Lewis Street in Wyandanch, around 4:38 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
At some point during the dispute, the person with whom Shipp was arguing shot him, according to police.
Shipp was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
