NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking into a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Staten Island, according to officials.
At approximately 4:10 p.m., officials responded to a 911 call of a past assault inside of 10 Palmer Avenue in the Elm Park neighborhood, authorities said.
Upon arrival, officers observed 24-year-old Luis Ramirez with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS transported the victim to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
