GREENLAWN, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 24-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Suffolk County early Thursday, police said.
William Thomas was walking north on Park Avenue, near Hofstra Drive, in Greenlawn when he was struck by a car.
Suffolk County police said the driver did not remain at the scene.
Thomas was taken by Greenlawn Rescue to Huntington Hospital for treatment.
