
BAYONNE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Bayonne police are investigating a hit-and-run that critically injured a man early Sunday morning, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.
At approximately 12:20 a.m., the officers were notified of a pedestrian struck in the area of Route 440 and 22nd Street in Bayonne.
Upon arrival, responding officers located a 25-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
The striking vehicle drove off and did not remain at the scene.
The man was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he remains in
critical condition.
