NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a woman wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred earlier this month in Brooklyn.
At approximately 9:10 p.m., on March 13, officials responded to a call of robbery in the vicinity of 49th Street and 5th Avenue in Greenwood Heights.
Upon arrival, a 41-year-old man informed officers that he was struck in his face with a can of food by a man who demanded money.
The victim also told authorities that a woman took a box he had containing shoes.
The suspects fled the location to parts unknown, according to police.
The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention on scene.
Police on Thursday released an imaged of the female suspect sought in the incident.
She is described as approximately 18 -20 years of age, dark complexion, slim build, and brown eyes.
Officials said she was last seen wearing a black jacket, black ripped jeans, black shoes, black cap, and a multi-colored surgical mask.
